Brett has had a very busy few weeks. They started off with a trip to KUMed West for a nice pair of tubes. The procedure was super easy and we were in and out in no time.
However, while we were in the waiting room Brett thought he would make sure there was nothing under the bed. I'm not sure what he was looking for. However, since then he is obsessed with trying to peak over every ledge he can.
Brett was also able to enjoy his first Royals game thanks to, his Edward Jones agent, B Wade Peters! We had pretty good seats, so Brett and Cody snuck down to take a picture.
The evening started off pretty hot and I wasn't sure how long Brett (or I for that matter) would be able to stand it.
However, after the sun went behind the stadium and we had a big bottle of cold water, we were in good spirits!
I try to stay out of as many pictures as possible, but decided to get one with my boy before heading home.
Brett also started swim lessons last week. He gets to play in the swimming pool at the IDC once a month, but he's never received any formal lessons (i.e. being dunked in the water). We checked things out before lessons started and Brett seemed to enjoy spending time in the shallow water.
It was kind of tough to walk in the stuff though. For some reason Brett was convinced his feet had to come all the way out of the water before he could step down.
There were some toys in the pool, so we practiced swimming over to one he had his eye on.
Brett's favorite part seems to be "jumping" in the water. However, he doesn't seem to be much of a fan of everything else that goes along with swimming. Though I will say that he was only 1 of 2 or 3 kids that didn't lose his mind after going under water. Way to make a mama proud!
